This device enables multiple padlocks to be placed on a gate without the need to modify gate or posts.
With dedicated lock positions there is no lockout concern, the lock goes back where it came out.
Remove the existing chain and locks, place the locks and chain on the CXL270 and installation is done.
Multiple users can have access to a gate, each with their own lock and key.
· The CXL270 is a 3/4” thick rectangle 2” X 3.3” , has a lock plate 3/8” thick, this is a more compact design than the CXL34x series
· Lock holes are 5/16” diameter max
· Comes with a 304 stainless steel slide equipped with a loop to attach your 7th lock and chain
· This is a 7-lock device, 1-6 in the base slots, 7th at the slide loop, attach chain at one of the base locks.
The 7th lock, slide and chain must be able to pass through together on your gate or post
· Base plate is zinc electroplated and painted
· Chain is not included with this model
