This device enables multiple padlocks to be placed on a gate without the need to modify gate or posts.
With dedicated lock positions there is no lockout concern, the lock goes back where it came out.
Remove the existing chain and locks, place the locks on the CXL342EXT and installation is done.
Multiple users can have access to a gate, each with their own lock and key .
· The CXL342EXT is 3/4” thick by 3” square, has a lock plate 3/8” thick
· Lock holes are 7/16” diameter and will accept most padlocks including disc type
· Comes with a standard slide equipped with a loop that is permanently attached to the chain
· This is a 4 lock device, 1-4 in the base slots, chain is permanently attached to the base plate
· Base plate and slide are zinc electroplated and painted
· 23 links of grade 70 5/16” chain approximately 30” is included with this model
